 WELCOME TO SHIBUYA. feel the people, hear the voices—they are reaching out to catch you. Reapsody is an upcoming short-term murdergame based on The World Ends with You, though no prior knowledge of the game is necessary. Upon arrival in the city of Shibuya, all characters are told that they are dead, and must participate in a "Reaper's Game" in order to win a second chance at life. The game is a mix of murder mystery and mafia-style games, where a mafia faction will kill at least one character per week, while the other characters try to uncover the guilty parties through investigations and trials. Each character is assigned a partner, whom they must work with to survive the game; if their partner dies, they do, too. Weekly posts will be made to the main community, where characters are encouraged to interact with each other to solve the mystery of what's happening in this bustling city; mingles may also include mid-week events that are on a first-come, first-serve basis that may lead to bigger hints... or bigger consequences. |
